About the Foundation

The Arnow Family Fund (AFF) strives to create a world that honors the dignity and equal rights of all human beings. Through our work, guided by progressive Jewish values, we embrace the responsibility to repair our communities and the world. AFF works to support local, national and international organizations in both general operation and specific project areas and is positioned to respond nimbly as opportunities and needs arise. Currently, AFF efforts are focused in the following five areas:

  • Protecting Democracy & Civic Engagement: upholding democratic norms and addressing voting barriers for underrepresented communities

  • Peace and Conflict Resolution/Civil and Human Rights: advancing progressive Jewish approaches to peace, conflict resolution, and human rights

  • Education, Innovation, and Design for Sustainability: integrating scalable economic, social, and environmental solutions across local, regional, and global systems

  • Arts and Media: working towards more equitable access to the arts

  • Human Health: improving the health of communities, with special attention to those who are underserved

Please note that AFF supports organizations by invitation only and does not accept unsolicited proposals.
